Rich Chaney BA (Hons) MArch


Rich has been with Williams-Architects since its founding in 2004.  He is particularly skilled in problem solving and technical planning, with a specialism in clean room environments, and also has a vast range of experience across a broad range of building sectors.  His flair with information technology has proved instrumental in establishing a smoothly running practice.  He also retains a role with RIBA Enterprises as an adviser and beta tester for their continuing development of the NBS suite of applications.

  • Large scale refurbishment of University of Nottingham premises to provide the Portland Food Court facility for staff and student catering; including Starbucks, Man's Gourmet and ITEM Seven concessions.
  • New European Research and Development Centre for PepsiCo, Leicester.
  • Internal alterations and refurbishment, and extensions to multiple Samworth Brothers' food production facilities.
  • Feasibility study for production offices refurbishment to Bakery, London.
  • New production and packing extensions with site re-modelling to Walkers Snack Foods production facility, Skelmersdale.
  • Feasibility study for new Ready Meals Production Facility, Warrington.
  • Glade Business Centre Phase II for Nottingham City Council.

  • Feasibility option studies and planning for Greggs South East, new bakery facility and regional distribution centre, Southall.
  • Feasibility option studies and planning for Cuisine de France, new production facility and national distribution centre, Stone.
