Grade II Listed Residence, LeicestershireWe have been involved with restoring this imposing Grade II listed property for several years, over a number of projects. These include the repair and restoration of the stable building, waterproofing and lining of the basement to create a useful wine cellar, and the conversion and regeneration of the carriage shed into a self-contained office, guest wing and garage. Most recently, we have co-ordinated the total refurbishment of the second floor to provide a new bathroom. During these works the ancient roof structure to the north wing needed very careful strengthening and rebuilding. We have enjoyed working closely with our client and with the contractor, Bonsers Restoration, on these fascinating projects and are pleased to have been able to play a part in preserving another important example of our built heritage. |
